Refund policy

RETURNS + EXCHANGES

We hope that you love your purchase! In the rare chance that you don't, we will gladly accept returns within 15 days notice for a full refund, exchange, or store credit provided that the following below is observed:

 

CONDITIONS:

  • You must return the item(s) in the same condition in which you received them, with their original packaging (including garment bags) and tags still in place.  Items must not have been worn, altered, damaged, soiled or washed. As many of our items are white and ivory, we kindly ask you to take reasonable care of the items. Please be careful of makeup or deodorant rubbing off on the garment.
  • All clothing items shipped has a tag attached reading "This tag must be kept on all items for returns & exchanges". Once this tag has been removed, the garment is no longer returnable. Each piece will undergo an inspection upon return and Silk Thread Boutique, LLC reserves the right to withhold the refund for damaged or worn goods. Items that are returned with makeup or marks will be subject to a dry cleaning fee of $50. 
  • Made-to-order pieces, gift cards, and any items marked 'Final Sale' are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit.

 

PROCESS:

  • Email us at info@silkthreadonline.com within 15 days from receiving your item(s), citing your order number and request to either refund, exchange, or issue a credit. We will then give you full details and instructions for the next steps. We must receive the item within 15 days from the initial return request.
  • If a return request is made within 7 days of receipt of your item, we will issue you a return label at no charge. At this time we do not cover the cost of the return shipment if the return request is made after 7 days. However, we will provide you with a return label for a discounted rate of $25 which will be deducted from your refund. 
  • To complete a return or exchange, please include your return slip that will be provided to you via email inside the box.
  • If you wish to exchange your item(s), we will do our best to exchange subject to stock availability. You will be charged the market shipping rate for this shipment.
  • The item must arrive to Silk Thread Online within a 15 day time period that the return label was issued. If 15 days have gone by since a return label was created, unfortunately, we are unable to offer you a refund, exchange, or credit.
  • Once we receive the returned item(s) we will assess it and will notify you about whether we are accepting the product for return. A refund will be processed within 7-10 business days of us receiving the returned items.
  • Any original shipping fees will not be refunded.
  • Your refund will be issued in the same form of payment used for your purchase.
